On 22 and 23 May, Prirodoslovna škola Vladimira Preloga (PSVP) opened its doors to prospective students, parents, and members of the wider community. Among the many educational initiatives showcased during the event, the EcoStories project introduced visitors to the exciting world of Citizen Science and its role in modern STEM education.
The Open Days provided an excellent opportunity to present the project’s objectives and resources to a diverse audience interested in science, sustainability, and innovative approaches to learning.

Throughout the event, visitors learned how Citizen Science enables students to participate actively in scientific research by collecting data, making observations, and contributing to projects that address real environmental and societal challenges.
The EcoStories team presented examples of Citizen Science activities and demonstrated how this approach helps students develop scientific literacy, critical thinking skills, and a deeper understanding of sustainability issues.
